There’s something so precious about the holiday season this time of the year. The holiday cheer in the air is irreplaceable and the joy that people feel is so palpable that you can’t help but smile and be overjoyed yourself. While it is easy to slip into the joy of the season, I tend to go into a rather reflective mode – especially this year. I’d be very ungrateful if I didn’t count each of the blessing this year has brought upon us and I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said that everything that I wished for last year has come true this year. My heart today is only filled with gratitude and this gives me immense joy.
If you’re having a hard time for whatever reason this year, I’d like to remind you of some things from personal experience –
- No matter what you’re going through, it is only temporary and this too, shall pass. As much as it might seem like the end of the road, it is only a bend and what helps you get through this is a positive attitude and the ability to never give up.
- Look for the small things that bring you joy.
- Be thankful for the blessings so far – however small or big – whether it is the roof over your head or the food on your plate, we must remember that there are people who are less fortunate than us.
- Set goals for the coming year – this always helps change your thought process.
- Be thankful for family and good friends. They are rare and more precious than we realize.
I hope that you all have a great holiday season where you’re able to focus on all the good things and have a heart full of joy and gratitude.

Yes yes yes to everything you said.. This time of the year is all about the festivities and joy but it sure helps to reflect back on how far along we have come. I am so glad you could acheive all your goals. you sure have worked super hard for them!!
Thank you for the reminders on how things may seem hard but it eventually gets better.. Nothing is really permanent in this world and that is the beauty we kinda lose to see. Oh nothing is more precious than family and friends ever. Any time spent with them is always worth more than any amount of money made 🙂 Here’s wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
